Disclaimer: This site is not in any way connected with the Church of Scientology. It is about Freezone Scientology. That is Scientology (and Dianetics) as practiced by persons who believe in the workability of the spiritual technology (auditing) developed by L. Ron Hubbard, but who wish to follow those beliefs free from the purview of the Church of Scientology. If you came to this site wishing to find the Church of Scientology, go to a reputable search engine site and use words such as Scientology, Dianetics or L. Ron Hubbard as your search criteria whereupon you should find a selection of the sites promoted by that organisation.

Scientology in the Freezone

Have you lost hope of continuing your spiritual quest?

Have strange arbitraries been put in your way, sec-checks you didn't need or want?

Have you been repelled by the altered importance of money which hits you everywhere you turn in your quest for more knowledge and freedom?

Have you been disappointed with your progress on the bridge?

Now there is hope. The FZAOs do not have unwarranted illegal declares. We want to handle, not have disconnection. We want to deliver standard LRH tech to all those who wish it. We are open to ALL, even the Church of Scientology's failed cases.

Our goal is the creation of Free Beings. Our organisation's CO is Class 8 OT 8 Ralph Hilton. Those who are familiar with ACT may know Ralph.

We have an internet management org and delivery orgs in several countries.

We have a version of this site in a few other languages (see the bottom of this page for links). You may join our internet mailing list (see the link at the side). If you wish to communicate with someone individually about your progress on the Bridge, please see our "meet the staff" page, also with a link to the side. There are people fluent in a few languages who may be able to answer your questions

We're working hard to deliver standard Scientology, the way LRH would have wanted us to.

"Service" (HCO POLICY LETTER OF 19 MARCH 1968)

"We will win if we are Scientology not a lot of isolated groups. The watchword is SERVICE.

I don't care how many rules you break if they're broken to give unselfish service to one another and the public. We live for service not for rules. If the combined power of all of us and all organizations were exerted as a shoulder to shoulder effort we would take this planet just as we are and with no more than we know...

Worldwide we are doing better today because of orderly comm lines and administrative patterns, we are making more headway and suffer less confusion, but don't worship our rituals. Be as orderly as you can. Follow our rules as best you can. But a rule can be wrong and service and our mission can never be wrong.

Use the rules until they prevent you from doing your job. But if these stop you, then to hell with the rules! Get the show on the road!"

Freezone Scientology Achieves Respectability!

For some time now Freezone Scientology (sometimes spelt Free Zone Scientology) has been gaining respectability. For quite a while members of the official Church of Scientology sought to brand us as "squirrels" and keep the terms "Freezone" and "Free Zone" from being associated with the word Scientology. However, they've lost that battle. The respected internet directory, dmoz.org has the Free Zone listed directly alongside Scientology itself. See, for example, see their section on Scientology. Other internet directories have been doing the same. In fact, "Freezone Scientology" is now becoming a recognised, separate brand.

Further, the internet encylopedia "Wikipedia" (on phatnav.com for example) also lists the Free Zone under both Scientology and Free_Zone_(Scientology).

Here are a few quotes from those pages:

Independent Scientology groups

"Although "Scientology" is most often used as shorthand for the Church of Scientology, a number of groups practice Scientology and Dianetics outside of the fold of the official Church. Such groups are invariably breakaways from the official Church and usually argue that it has corrupted L. Ron Hubbard's principles or has otherwise become overly domineering...."

It seems that Church of Scientology members are still trying to edit away entries about the Freezone, however, another version of the same page said:

"Beside the official Church of Scientology, a number of groups are practicing Scientology and Dianetics on their own. Claiming that the mother organization has become corrupt, domineering, and controlling, a number of groups have broken away from Scientology and founded their own practices...."

A version of the separate page on the Free Zone said:

"The Free Zone is the name used to describe the various individuals and groups who have broken away from the Church of Scientology, but who continue to practice Scientology-derived beliefs and techniques in an environment free from the control of the official Church.

In spite of the controversy surrounding the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard, members of the Free Zone believe that the auditing process and other techniques used in dianetics and scientology offer genuine benefits....

One basis for the notion that anyone has the right to freely practise according to the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard, whether sanctioned by the Church of Scientology or not, is Hubbard's statement:

"Dianetics is not in any way covered by legislation anywhere, for no law can prevent one man sitting down and telling another man his troubles, and if anyone wants a monopoly on dianetics, be assured that he wants it for reasons which have to do not with dianetics but with profit." —L. Ron Hubbard, Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health (1950)"
